New figures show there has been 1,300 family violence order breaches in the past financial year in Greater Bendigo.
That’s a 5 per cent increase over three years.
Meanwhile, in the Hepburn shire people are being asked to dress in orange for several walks through Trentham, Daylesford, Creswick and Clunes at 3.30pm.

In addition, the council will be participating in the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence campaign.
Newly-elected Mayor Brian Hood said it’s an important initiative for their shire.

“The walk was very well attended last year, we expect it will be again this year.
He added that it’s a good way to draw attention a “terrible problem” in the region.
