An alleged thief and dangerous driver could be on the run in Bendigo or Maryborough.

Local police are calling on the public to report a wanted 41-year-old man, David Freeman.
A warrant has been issued for Freeman, who has auburn hair, a medium build and a tattoo on his left hand.

He is known to frequent the Bendigo and Maryborough areas.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Maryborough, Bendigo Police or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
