New data commissioned by Regional Australia Institute (RAI) shows 83% of metro educators, could be persuaded to make a move to the regions – with around 50 full-time vacancies in Bendigo alone.
According to the report, City-based educators are facing chronic job dissatisfaction while teachers who move for a job in Regional Australia could be eligible for cash incentives of up to $50,000.
CEO of Regional Australia Institute, Liz Ritchie, says the institute is highlighting the available opportunities for city-dwellers.
