New research reveals parents across Regional Victoria will fork out well over $200,000 to provide their child with a private school education.
Sending a child to an independent school over the next 13 years in regional areas of the state is expected to cost around $220,000 on average while giving a child a government education is leaving parents nearly $80,000 out of pocket.
CEO of Futurity Investment Group, Sam Sondhi, says school fees are only one part of the overall cost.
