High-interest rates and soaring house prices in Regional Victoria are ending the flood of Australians abandoning the big cities for a life in the regions… with interest rates and high house prices getting much of the blame.
The numbers fell 9% in the last quarter of 2023 and now sit just above where they were before the pandemic.
