The pop-up park in the centre of Bendigo’s Pall Mall will be removed today, making way for a winter wonderland with a pop-up ice skating rink.
The mobile rink will be open for business daily from late June.
The city promises the works will take no more than two days, noting there will be temporary fencing around the site. Also, the Mall will undergo a deep clean on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

When the ice skating wraps up in mid-July, new, permanent landscaping will be installed in the Mall’s centre.
