150th Daylesford Show
In 2024 celebrate the 150th Daylesford Show at Victoria Park, Daylesford and end the day with a Barn Dance (2pm).
Entries to traditional agricultural show sections are now open and entry submissions close midnight Sunday 17 November 2024. Sections include cooking, crafts, photography, flowers, plants, produce, juniors, art, horse events, sheep, poultry and a Dogs Victoria Championship Show.
The Daylesford Show Committee have put together a fun filled Family and Community event with exciting entertainment and live performers for all ages to enjoy.
There are free activities and events for children, including face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides and petting, and a puppet show. The Showmen’s Guild will be there with various rides to enjoy, along with show bags, yummy food and drinks.
Children can try their skills in Spud Steal, Gumboot Toss, Spud Croquet, or Farmer Wants a Life event in the morning.
After watching the horse events, move over to the judging of the range of classes of sheep, poultry and dogs. Nearby are the exhibits entered into the arts, crafts, horticulture, and cookery sections.
There is music throughout the day and Show Day will end with a Barn Dance under the large shade sail.
This year, the show is going to be bigger and better than ever and a fitting celebration of 150 shows in 160 years.
