Bendigo East Swimming Pool has become too expensive to stay open all year after attempts to keep it open fell through.
The pool will close for winter in early April after Greater Bendigo Council and the Pool committee met several times over the past six months. As well as the large community effort to keep the pool open, supported by Olympian Jenna Strauch, garnered the support of hundreds.
