Bendigo suburb named one of Victoria’s biggest internet data users

Strathfieldsaye’s been revealed as the tenth-biggest user of internet data in the entire state.

New figures reveal locals in the town are chewing through 469 gigabytes per month, 25 per cent higher than the Victorian average.

More than 57,000 homes in Bendigo are still plodding along on the old copper network, despite being eligible to upgrade to much faster fiber.
