With International Day of People Living with Disability celebrated tomorrow, locals are getting in early to celebrate their contributions to the Greater Bendigo region.

An event will be held out the front of the Bendigo Library from 11am-2pm.
Committee member and media manager at the Internantional Day of People Living with a Disability Jed Manson said there are three main reasons behind the local event.

“Celebrate, recognise and to be more inclusive, in like workplaces and schools and sporting clubs,” he said.
He added that there will be plenty of organisations and NDIS providers there to offer assistance.
“So, we’ve got about 28 local disability services registered, we’ll have live music for the day, we’re going to have a barbeque.”
