Almost 30 doctors have pitched in their time to support a seven-day-a-week GP service in Bendigo – aiming to take the pressure off the city’s Emergency Department.

Between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the PPCC successfully treated 144 patients – demonstrating the centre’s vital role in the community and reducing the burden on emergency services and local hospital emergency departments.

Since opening in June last year, Bendigo’s PPCC has fast become a vital part of the city’s healthcare landscape and is set to mark treating its 4000th patient in the coming days!
