After 32 years in the Bendigo Football and Netball League, Maryborough says they will step away from the footy league.
The club is looking to join another league or merge with another club.
The decision comes after weeks of player shortages and a disappointing start to the season, setting the league record loss by 333 points.

League General Manager, Cameron Tomlins, tells the Wake Up Call that fans shouldn’t jump to conclusions about the club’s future just yet.
This is a further blow to the league, who lost Kyneton at the end of last season.
