A final quarter surge by Sandhurst earned the Dragons a place in next weekend’s Football Grand Finals against Golden Square in Saturday’s BFNL preliminary final at the QEO against Strathfieldsaye. This will be the team’s first grand final appearance since they defeated Golden Square in the 2016 decider.
Gisborne will play Sandhurst in the 2023 BFNL Netball grand final after a 13-goal triumph over Castlemaine in Saturday’s preliminary final at the QEO. This will be the Bulldog’s first grand final since 2018 where they also played Sandhurst.
