Police have shut down Bendigo’s Thales factory for the day after local Free Palestine protesters blocked the entrance to the weapons manufacturing facility.
Protests are being held globally in a concerted effort for a ceasefire in GAZA, including in regional centers such as Ballarat and Geelong.
One of the protesters out front of the factory from seven o’clock this morning, Laurie, says the group is made of concerned locals who want to see the bloodshed stop.

Federal Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters, has declined to comment.
