Emergency services are yet to determine the exact circumstances surrounding a collision that killed the driver of a car when it hit a truck on the Calder Alternative Highway near Hurst Rd.
The impact of the collision caused the truck to roll, and the car to catch fire, killing the car’s driver.
The truck driver, in his 30s, was taken to Bendigo Health in a stable condition for observation.
