661 new cases were recorded in the last weekly reporting period, making the region one of the most infected regions, per capita, in Victoria.
In addition, Ararat recorded the highest per capita number of COVID-19 cases of anywhere in the state in the past reporting week.

12 lives have been lost per day, on average, in the last week in Victoria.
Hospitalisations are up, with the state averaging 682 daily hospitalisations and 28 daily intensive care admissions.
