Globally-recognised education brand, TEDtalks, is bringing one of its TedX shows to Maldon in Central Victoria this July.

The talks, normally in the form of a lecture and broadcast to sites like YouTube and Facebook, will focus on some of the big ideas in science and its involvement with communities of Maldon, Castlemaine and Bendigo.
2021 Australian of the Year Grace Tame has been announced as a guest speaker of the event.
Around 100 attendees will be able to fit in the Maldon Community Centre, but the video recording will also become publicly available.

Nominations are still open for outstanding scientists, social entrepreneurs and change-makers.
