An parliamentary inquiry into the region’s 2022 flood event tabled its interim report in Echuca yesterday.
The upper house environment and planning committee has made six findings, mostly focused on northern Victoria.
The report found, amongst other issues, troubles with housing availability in the region later created strains in housing flood-affected residents and the grants available to support them don’t always align with their needs.
