More Local Religious Sites Vandalised in “Senseless” Attacks

Even more religious and cultural sites around Bendigo have been hit as Police continue to hunt down the suspects of alleged vandalism attacks at the Golden Dragon Museum and The Great Stupa.

Police say graves at a cemetery on the corner of Holdsworth Road and Plumridge Street were damaged earlier this month – in a similar style to the attack on the museum and temple.

The cemetery’s Jewish monument, graves and Chinese burning tower were allegedly been stained by a similar liquid.

Premier Jacinta Allan previously condemned the “senseless” May 5th attacks, saying “it’s hard to fathom a motive”.
