As temperatures rise across Victoria’s Northern Country, North Central, and Central districts today, loved ones, the elderly, and children are on our minds…. but what about the native wildlife?

On days of extreme weather, extreme heat is fatal to our native wildlife.

Animal Justice Party Member for Northern Victoria, Georgie Purcell, asks residents to make sure they leave water out for animals on hot days and put twigs or stones in the water – as too often thirsty animals get trapped.
