Regional Victorians have taken more than 13 million v/line trips since the Victorian Government’s fairer fares cap commenced in late March, saving locals a total of $31 million.
Under the fare cap, regional fares are capped at the same price as the metropolitan daily fare – Bendigo passengers who previously paid up to $68.80 are now paying no more than $10 a day.
