The Final Day of Greater Bendigo’s Fire Danger Period

As the fire danger period finishes up in the Greater Bendigo and surrounds today, the CFA urges residents to remain alert and prepared.

In February, around 1,000 firefighters and several aircraft battled an uncontrolled bushfire in the ranges, which destroyed homes across the region.

The CFA are residents to monitor conditions on hot, dry, and windy days and ensure they follow regulations when conducting any burn-offs.
