In front of a crowd calling for an end to gender-based violence, organisers placed 32 flowers – one for each Australian woman killed in alleged gendered-violence attacks – in three vases.
The heavy and powerful moment at Bendigo’s No More rally left hundreds of attendees in solemn silence as they mourned the women killed and reflected on how governments, community, and societal roles failed them.
